Fresh Breath

Enhanced Taste

Improved Digestion

Over 700 different species of bacteria live in your mouth (second only to your gut biome!), many of which reside on your tongue. That white coating you see every morning? That's biofilm - the leading culprit of bad breath and host of other oral health issues.

The antimicrobial properties of copper help eliminate pathogenic microorganisms on the tongue's surface. By removing biofilm and volatile sulfur compounds, tongue scraping helps prevent bad breath and oral diseases while stimulating saliva production, improving gut health, and promoting overall oral health.

This microbial community thrives in the warm, moist environment of the mouth, especially on the rough, papillary surface of the tongue, which provides an ideal breeding ground for bacterial colonies.

Unlike stainless steel, metallic copper surfaces are known to kill 99.9% of organisms within a few hours of contact and destroy the cell walls of bacteria.

Unlike plastic or the nylon bristles of a toothbrush, copper spreads ZERO microplastics on the tongue.

Tongue scraping daily has shown to remove 75% of VSCs (volatile sulfur compounds) compared to 45% when using a toothbrush to clean your tongue.

How it Works

The Science of Fresh Breath: Why Tongue Scraping with Copper is Essential

Clinical research has demonstrated that tongue scraping can eliminate up to 75% of Volatile Sulfur Compounds (VSCs)—the primary cause of bad breath—whereas using a toothbrush to clean your tongue only removes about 45% of these compounds.

Copper is superior to other metals, such as stainless steel, due to its naturally antimicrobial properties, which enable it to kill bacteria and prevent the growth of harmful microbes more quickly and effectively. In recognition of its potency against pathogens and viruses, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has registered copper as the first antimicrobial metal.

The American Dental Association (ADA) acknowledges the benefits of tongue scraping as part of a comprehensive oral hygiene routine.

    Copper Tongue Scraper

This copper tongue scraper is far superior to any other tongue scraper I have tried; it is sturdier, feels more substantial in hand, and does a better job. I will never go back to stainless steel. I am very pleased with it.

    Whole family fun

My family and I love this product! Our 2 year old was very excited to get her own so that she too could partake in getting her tongue clean each and every day. Also, when we ran into a small shipping issue customer service immediately offered to help and make sure everything was delivered and our order was completed as quickly as possible.
